Are you crazy?!
First off….if you are in sales… you have to be somewhat crazy. What kind of person puts themselves in front of random strangers all day, just to get told no?? You do of course!
Secondly, make sure you get my free mini guide on how to handle the top five customer objections. CLICK HERE TO GET ACCESS TO THE GUIDE
I’ve been in sales pretty much my entire life. From selling sodas out of my locker in high school, to door to door cell phone plans in crappy neighborhoods, estate and financial planning from California to Florida and Billions of dollars of home improvement sales….. I’ve done it all. I’ve sold in the home, over the phone, on-line and built teams from zero… to hundreds of sales reps and hundreds of millions of dollars a year in sales.
That’s all to say that I’ve screwed up, broken, fixed, broken again and failed in just about every way a sales professional can. I’ve also worked with some of the best, most successful and interesting people in our profession.
My goal with this newsletter is really to provide a “Tune up”. Meaning, the topics are designed to “Tune up” skills you already have and posses, but may have forgotten along the way. Some weeks we’ll talk about attitude, other weeks we’ll talk about strategy, while other weeks I might share a funny analogy that you can use with your customers.
Sales is the most simple…… and the most complex profession there is. Its very easy to get off the path of what works and get into the weeds with the crazies. If this all resonates with you… then hit the button below and get your weekly tune up. Along the way, you’ll make me a far better professional as well.
