Happy Tuesday everyone!
I’m keeping it short and simple this week, because honestly….. you don’t have time to read a big ol newsletter two days before Thanksgiving.
You need to do this.
Call your best customers….. today.
Call your most recent customers…… today.
Call that one pissed off customer you’ve been avoiding…… today.
Don’t have customers?
Call your friends.
Don’t have friends?
Walk over to the neighbors house.
Don’t have neighbors?
Go to the mall and talk to strangers.
Because here’s the thing that’s about to happen in two days…….
Every one of your customers is going to have all their friends and family over to their house. They’re going to talk about food, football AND that project you just completed for them…..
“I like the new roof, How was the process?”
“How are you liking that new solar system?”
“You guys just got a new furnace right? How do you like it?”
“Did you guys lose power the other day or did the battery kick in?”
And if you reach out to them TODAY, you can
A) Get in front of any issues they have, so they can say “Had a couple issues, but my guy is great and all over it”
or
B) “It’s going awesome! My sales rep just called a couple days ago and told me about a great referral program if you guys are interested. I would highly recommend talking to Steve. Here’s his number”
What you don’t want to happen is.
The customer complains to their whole family about what a bad job you did and how they never hear from you.
Uncle Joe says “You should talk to my guy. He’ll cut you a sweet deal and he did great on our house”.
You lose all the referrals, the customer is embarrassed to work with you and you possibly have a cancellation.
Remember, If you are not visible, you’re invisible…. in sales you want to be visible.
